My name is Petah and I live in the country town of Bendigo, in Victoria, Australia.
I do miss the big city and especially the markets and the shops. That is why I think the internet has become so important for people in remote areas, who cannot get as freely as others to shops or live in towns that just do not have much variety. So on my website, I hope to offer you a wide range of items that you have been unable to source elsewhere.
I still have lots of work to do, but this whole website business is new to me, so please bare with me. I have been selling on eBay for the past 6 years under the id (what else) of the*pink*boudoir. It has opened up a whole new world to me and I have made some wonderful friendships.
My taste has changed over the years, but I always go back to white and florals. When I was first married, my friend and neighbour Amanda, first introduced me to a furniture auction and I have been hooked forever. I enjoy nothing more than scouring the flea markets and auctions for that must have piece. So if you are after something in particular, please do not hesitate to drop me an e-mail and I will put it on my 'must find' list.
I am married and the mother to three gorgeous children aged between 12 and 6, that keep me on my toes. Running my website from home fits in with my lifestyle perfectly and I plan on getting my bungalow outside fixed up into a work room, so I can display my items when customers come to my home as well as finding room for all this stock.
My speciality is made to order lamps. I just love doing them and find it quite addictive. I can do anything from a standard lamp to chandelier shades and have heaps of bases, materials and shades in stock, so please e-mail me with any special requests and we can work within your budget. They are of the highest quality and sold in shops in my area.
So thank you to the customers I have already have, as you don't know how much your purchases have meant to me. It is quite scary starting a business out there on the big worldwide net!
